CAMPSITE RESERVATION INFORMATION
Please note: during the summer and when kids are on break from school the campground is very busy and fills up quickly. Sites along the oceanfront and main roads are the busiest areas. A deposit of half of the reservation total, or a minimum of $75 if reservation is less than $150, is required to hold a reservation. Campsite reservations for 30 nights or more require a deposit of $500.00. The balance of the reservation is due 14 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If the balance is not paid 14 days prior to arrival, the reservation will be cancelled and $75 will be forfeited. Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require a deposit of the full amount. Reservations are by area as opposed to site number, unless guest chooses to reserve by site number for an additional fee of $20 (based on availability and 3 night minimum required). For area type reservation site number will be given at check-in. Pictures are for information only, individual site looks and locations may vary. Cancellations or changes made at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date will incur an administrative fee of $25. Cancellations or changes made less than 14 days prior will incur a $75 fee. If you do not show up for your reservation it will be canceled with no refund. CHECK-IN AFTER 2:00 PM and BEFORE MIDNIGHT; CHECK-OUT BEFORE 11:00 AM. ENTRANCE TO THE CAMPGROUND IS NOT PERMITTED UNTIL CHECK-IN. NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURE, INCLEMENT WEATHER, OR CHANGING TO A LESSER-PRICED SITE AFTER ARRIVAL. If you do not show up for your reservation it will be canceled with no refund. Rates are based on a family of (5) five. Extra persons - Day Visitors $3 per person per day. Overnight Visitors $3 per person per night. Maximum of 8 persons allowed per campsite. Space is limited. All sites have full hook-up - 30/50 Amp electric (tents will need an adapter), water, and sewer. Rates are subject to change.
VACATION RENTAL RESERVATION INFORMATION

Rental reservations require a refundable security deposit. There is no daily housekeeping/maid service. Guests must leave unit clean and undamaged to receive the security deposit refund. Guests must provide their own linens and some other furnishings including but not limited to: pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels. Security deposits are as follows: $200 per week for singlewide, $200 per week for executive doublewide, and $300 for First Mates/Captain's Quarters. Reservations made online require a deposit of at least half the total at the time of booking. Visa and MasterCard accepted. Cancelling requires a 30 day notice prior to arrival and will result in a $25 administrative fee. Cancelling within 30 days of arrival will result in the forfeiture of all monies paid. Check-in time is 4pm. Entrance to the park is not allowed until rental is ready for check-in so please plan accordingly. Check-out is 11am and guests must depart the campground upon check-out. All units are non-smoking. Generally - WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN THE VACATION RENTALS. We may have a dog friendly unit available. Please call 843-238-5155 for info. Rates are subject to change.
RE: MAIL AND PACKAGES
We no longer accept incoming mail or packages for third parties, this includes registered guests. We will accept "PirateLand" business mail only. Please plan accordingly by having mail and packages sent to a different location.
Campground Yeas & Nays
Vacation should be fun, and everyone wants to have a good time! Please be courteous and respectful of others and the property. We are privately owned and have the right to ask any rule violators to leave with no refund if necessary. We are a family campground and only allow families. We also have the right to alter rules if necessary. For the safety and comfort of all guests we ask that everyone be familiar with and adhere to the following rules:
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND CAMPING IS AN OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE.
You will encounter nature at the campground including wildlife, insects, a lot of sand, and changes of weather. We do not refund for early departures.
REGISTRATION/ENTRY
The speed limit is 10MPH. All guests must register at the main office and pay the appropriate fees before setting up on a campsite, checking into a vacation rental, visiting a guest or resident, or before moving from one site to another. The check-in time for campsites is after 2pm and before 11pm. Vacation rental check-in is after 4pm. Entrance after midnight is only allowed if you have already been issued a pass. If you do not show up for your reservation it will be canceled with no refund.
All delivery drivers, taxis, ubers, lyfts, shuttles, etc. must be met at the front entrance; they cannot enter the campground. All vehicles and campers coming on the property must have a valid license plate. CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 AM. Please leave vehicle pass with the office or front gate as you leave. Guests are not allowed to remain in the campground once they have checked out. We do not accept third party mail or package deliveries
PARKING/TRAFFIC
Space is limited. Campsite and Rental rates include one vehicle and one piece of camping equipment (except where noted). If space allows, an additional vehicle may be registered for applicable fees. Current extra car pass is $5 per night and a tent on site with a camper is $10 per night.
QUIET TIME
Please observe quiet time from 11pm to 7am. Driving around the campground during quiet time is not permitted unless there is an emergency. All golf carts must be back on their sites from 11pm to 7am.
SECURE YOUR BELONGINGS
Remember to lock your vehicle and your unit. Put your awning and/or other loose items away if winds are strong. If you see suspicious activity at any time, please call 1-800-443-2267 and follow the prompts for the Front Gate/Patrol crew.
GOLF CARTS/LOW SPEED VEHICLES
Only personal golf carts registered to annual lease sites are permitted to be operated on the campground. PERSONAL CARTS & LOW SPEED VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED for campsites and vacation rentals. Rental carts are available through Grahams Golf Carts on site rental office. All golf cart drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license. Violators may be fined and/or privileges may be removed. A restricted/provisional license is not permitted. Flags on golf carts may not exceed a 2 ft. by 2ft dimension. Poles erected on golf carts cannot exceed 3 feet high. Guests needing mobility assistance may contact us at (843) 238-5155 ext 235 with questions.
BICYLCES
All the campground roads are paved. Bicycles out at night must have lights.
SCOOTERS & MISC POWERED VEHICLES
We allow electric scooters with a handlebar height of at least 36â€, and two wheels, that are designed for one person and are used by a single rider. If riding at night equipment must have lights. We do NOT ALLOW gas powered scooters, electric unicycles, two-seated scooters, mopeds, motorbikes, go-carts, ATVs, or motorcycles to be operated in the campground. For loading and unloading, a patrol escort may be available. Guests needing mobility assistance may contact us at (843) 238-5155 ext 235 with questions.
TRASH PICK UP
We have daily trash pick-up for the campsites and vacation rentals. Please have your trash bagged and out by 9am. Trash pick-up for annual lease sites is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and must be placed in a bag, in a can with a lid. Please help keep the property clean by discarding your trash in an appropriate manner.
CAMPFIRES
Unless we are under a state or county "burn ban", we allow a portable fire pit as long as it is at least 6" above the ground and has a screen, cover, or chimney. Campers are responsible for fire safety.
LAKES
Fishing in our lakes and the ocean requires a SC Saltwater Fishing License for anyone 16 years old or over. Licenses, bait, and tackle are available for purchase in the front office. SWIMMING/Personal watercraft IN THE LAKES are PROHIBITED.
PET POLICY
We allow common domestic pets on campsites and annual lease sites only. Pets are not allowed in or around vacation rentals. We may have a dog friendly rental unit available. Please call (843) 238-5155 ext 228 for more information. Pets must be on a leash 6 feet or less and cleaned up after. Aggressive pets are NOT welcome.
