ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER UPON ARRIVAL:��Opening the gate for unauthorized/unregistered people or vehicles is strictly prohibited.�All persons entering campground must be registered at the office.� Sites found with unregistered persons will be charged a violation fee or asked to leave the campground immediately.
SITE OCCUPANCY: Maximum 6 people registered per site at all times (including visitors). Exception made for larger immediate families only, please contact us prior to booking.�
DAY VISITOR POLICY: Day Visitor Entry Fee: $5.00 per person
Registered overnight camping guest must pre-register day visitors at the office.� We do not admit any unregistered visitors we (or the camping guest) are not expecting.� Visitors may only arrive during office hours and will not be admitted any later than 7pm.� Visitors must register upon arrival, pay applicable fees, obtain parking pass for vehicle and park as directed.� Day Visitors must depart by 9pm. Access to all campground amenities is included with day visitor pass.� LIMIT of 6 people TOTAL registered per site at all times, including both overnight guests and day visitors unless prior authorization granted by owners. Visitors only admitted if space exists and pre-registered.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM � 8:00 AM
SPEED LIMIT: 5 M.P.H. throughout the park.� Drive slowly and with caution.
VEHICLES & PARKING: Each vehicle must be registered and will be issued a parking/gate pass that must be visibly displayed.� ONE vehicle included, LIMIT of 2 vehicles per site, and must be parked at assigned site.� No blocking other sites, roadways or parking on vacant sites.� �VERY LIMITED overflow parking is available and space cannot be guaranteed.
Parking/gate pass must be returned to the office or after hours drop box upon departure. Lost or unreturned passes subject to a $10 fee.� Gate pass is for the REGISTERED VEHICLE ONLY.� DO NOT use your issued gate pass to open gate for any other vehicle.
FIRES: FIRE RINGS MAY NOT BE MOVED! Fires in designated rings or those approved by management only. Burn spots left on grass will be charged a site repair fee.� Maintain fires at a safe level and do not leave fire unattended. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished upon check-out.� All fires must be out by 12:00 AM (midnight).
FIREWOOD: Per VT state law, firewood may not be transported into the state to prevent the spread of insect infestations. DO NOT bring firewood from over a 50 mile radius.� Buy it where you burn it!� Kiln dried firewood is available for sale in the camp store.��NO CUTTING OR DISFIGURING OF TREES!��
CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children at all times.� All minors must be on campsite by dark or under direct adult supervision.� Children must be accompanied by an adult in the camp store and while using campground games/amenities.� Bicycle riding permitted on roads only, no biking after dusk.� *Persons under 18 years old are not allowed to camp or be on property without adult supervision.*
PETS: Friendly, non-aggressive dogs and indoor cats are welcome.� They must be leashed when outside and under the control of an adult owner at all times. Do not leave pets unattended outside, use of pet fencing is not allowed. The dog park is the designated off-leash, fenced area for you to enjoy with your dog. Please pick up after your pet immediately!� Pets are not allowed in the pool areas or buildings; dog fee applies for cabins. Current Rabies certificate required.� Aggressive behavior or excessive barking is not tolerated.
TRASH & RECYCLING: Please dispose of trash & recycling in designated dumpsters, do not leave behind at site. DO NOT BURN TRASH. Dumpsters may not be used to dispose of large items such as grills, furniture, carpets, electronics, appliances, tires or metal.�*We collect returnable bottles and cans � all proceeds are donated to the local animal shelter*�
PROHIBITED!!!: Use of Drones & RC Vehicles, Firearms, Weapons, Fireworks, Generators and Golf Carts/ATV�s are prohibited on the property.�No patio mats/carpets on grass. No pet fencing permitted. No washing cars or RV�s. No EV charging permitted, $50 violation fine.��PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS! Do not walk, bike through or park on other campsites, even if unoccupied. Keep noise and music to a respectful volume at all times.��
POOLS: SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Do not swim alone. No lifeguards provided.��Children must be supervised by an adult at the river and pools.�Hours: 10AM � DUSK
HOT TUB: For ADULTS 18 & over ONLY.�Shower before entering and observe specific rules posted on the pool premises.��Hours: 12noon � 9PM
BATHHOUSE: Code is required for access to showers and laundry rooms. Treat bathrooms, showers and laundromat with care. Please report any problems to the office. No dogs or washing dishes in restrooms.� Quarter exchange for laundry machines is available at the store.

Acceptance of Rules & Policies: Guest understands and agrees to comply with all campground rules and regulations, assumes full responsibility for all site occupants and understands that disregarding rules may result in dismissal without refund.� Mountain View Campground is privately owned and operated; all guests and visitors of guests must be registered or will be considered trespassing on private property. Rules and policies are established and enforced for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all campers and are subject to changes at owners discretion. The management reserves the right to prohibit or evict any party at any time without refund. No refund for early departures.
Liability Waiver: The guest acknowledges that inherent risks are present while participating in camping and outdoor activities. The guest assumes all risk for personal injury, loss and/or property damage related to the use of these camping and recreational facilities including (but not limited to) such injury, loss or damage by insects, wildlife, electrical outages, wind, rain, hail and any other weather condition or act of God. The guest accepts camping privileges at Mountain View Campground with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury or illness to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury or illness to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities.� Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Mountain View Campground to photograph guests while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.
